I can’t believe how much I missed you all and blogging! I took a little break from blogging to fully focus on my yearly detox. For the best results, detoxing requires a lot of focus and minimized stress when possible and I have a day job so other than that I kept things easy on myself. During this process I didn’t just focus on giving my digestive system a break. I also focused on reorganizing my home, not listening to music or the radio, and minimizing my time on social media.
I did this to give my entire body a break from my day to day routine which becomes extremely comfortable and honestly you should unplug from routines as much as you can when you can. As a result this will spark your creativity because your mind frees up space to create new possibilities. Of course I was not able to unplug from work for a month, but I will be taking vacations in the near future lol.
This time around instead of my 30 day raw fruit and veggie fast, I did The Detox Now program which includes herbal liquid supplements and a guide with approved foods which consists of mostly fruits. Since I always get questions about what to get at the grocery store for the detoxes I do. I decided to share what I got during one of my weekly shopping trips for this detox. Check out my video here:
During this detox I was able to lose a total of 9 lbs. As always with any diet or regimen change the biggest for most people including me is keeping the weight off. So I am currently in the process of figuring out what is going to work for me.
My goals are pretty much the same as the ones I had last year other than me wanting to workout a minimum of 4 times per week. In case you missed it, you can check out my previous blog post here.
What are your health goals for this year? Feel free to leave them in the comment section below. Remember you have one life to live so live it be-U-tifully by being you to the fullest.
Peace & Love
