Time Saving Hacks For A Busy Morning

Hi Loves,

I am not proud to say this but I am late a little more often than I would like to be.  I am working on doing better so I added a few things to my daily routine to help me get to places on time.  Here are my time saving hacks:

Say No To Procrastination

Who does not procrastinate from time to time?  I could be wrong but I feel like we all do it sometimes.  But in the morning when you have somewhere to be, of course this is not a good thing.  Do not wait until the last minute to get ready.  Also, do not keep hitting that snooze button!  Instead wake up in enough time to get everything done in your morning routine.

Preparation Is Key

Prepare as many things as you can the night before.  Prepare your outfit for work, school, interview, or whatever you have planned for the next day.

Items I know I am most likely to forget I place by the door so I can remember to grab them on my way out.  Also, I normally prepare my lunch the night before, but occasionally I prepare my lunch for the next 2 days.

Make A List

Write down everything that needs to be done in the morning the night before and list any items which need to come along with you for the day.  Check off items on your list as you get through your morning.

Sleep Early

Go to bed early enough to get 7-9 hours of sleep.  This way you will have enough energy to wake up and not move sluggishly through your morning.  Also you are less likely to keep hitting the snooze button.

No Social Media

Do not check your emails and social media first thing in the morning unless you set aside time dedicated to this.  This is a distraction and you may go into your social media accounts thinking you will only use up 10 minutes but end up scrolling through for the next 30 minutes.  Avoid this trap if possible.

Fill Up

I always make sure I have enough gas in my car for the week.  If my tank is half full I normally start thinking about which day after work I will fill up next. I rarely if ever fill up on gas in the morning.

Also, I keep deodorant, lotion, hand sanitizer, flats, gloves for the winter, and a sweater in my car just in case I ever forget these items.

Hope these tips were helpful!  What are some of your time hacks? Comment below with your tips that help you get through your morning routine in a timely fashion.  Please do not forget to share and subscribe.

Peace & Love,
