This past weekend, along with a couple of my girlfriends, I went to the Rusty Scupper in Baltimore for my favorite meal of the day, which is brunch of course 🙂 Just in case you missed my first weekend recap about this place, you can check it out here. The location of this restaurant is absolutely beautiful! It is on the Baltimore waterfront and I absolutely love anything near a body of water. Read More

If you have been reading my blogs for a while you know that I am really into healthy eating. Although I don’t eat 100 percent healthy every single day, I try my best to incorporate as many health foods as I can into my daily diet. Also, I somewhat follow Dr Sebi’s methodology of what we as humans should consume. I say somewhat because although I would like to be an alkaline vegan in the future, I am definitely not even vegan yet. But I use some of his principles in my daily food regimen. Dr Sebi believes diseases cannot live in an alkaline environment, therefore by eating alkaline foods we ward off diseases.
Here are the 5 simple yet alkaline food swaps you can make today to become a healthier you (these are all Dr. Sebi approved): Read More

Lately manifesting has become my mantra. This has been a common discussion among me and those around me but what is manifestation? How do you manifest want you want in life? I’ve heard of this term in the past but I’ve never really looked into it.
In my research, this seems to be the secret to life that I am aware of but I have not been paying much attention to. Basically what you focus on becomes your reality. I will say in the past what I’ve obsessed over has been my reality. I’m sure you’ve heard like attracts like, positivity attracts positivity, and negativity attracts negativity.

My first what’s in my bag/ Coach Rogue bag review was such a success I decided to bring you another one. This time I am reviewing the Coach Dinky bag. This style of bag was released in 2016 for Coach’s 75th anniversary. I hope you had an amazing weekend! I know I did 🙂 If you follow me on IG or Snapchat you probably got a glimpse of the highlight of my weekend, which was attending the Wotless Fit Festival on Saturday. If you didn’t see my social media this past weekend, you are probably thinking what in the world is that lol! Think dance, meets zumba, meets Soca music, meets wining yuh waist gyal. Can we say fun, fun, fun! Whoever came up with this idea is a genius 🙂 Read More

I always get people who comment on how they admire that I eat so healthy. When they find out I eat mostly organic food, their response is “Girl that is too expensive!”
Well I am here to tell you there are ways to make eating healthy and/ organic work for you. I know this is very cliche but remember you are what you eat so don’t be fast and cheap. Also what you put into your body now you will pay the consequences for later on in life. The root of most diseases start with your daily diet regimen. Which is why I always seem to be on a “diet” but really I am trying to permanently clean up the way that I eat.
Eating healthier does not need to break the bank. Here are some tips for eating healthy while on a budget:

Living in this world, it is so easy to be overwhelmed with the different situations being thrown at you day in and day out. Constantly dealing with everything from work, school, family, relationships, etc, it can be very easy to feel like you are way in over your head, ultimately leaving you feeling drained. That’s life right? Well I recently found myself in a position where I felt depleted and I had no choice but to take time out to nurture myself during this vulnerable period in my life. Of course this does not happen everyday but when it does, being prepared helps you avoid feeling helpless.
Here are my tips for overcoming being overwhelmed:

After eyeing this line for a little while, I finally took the plunge and purchased the Carol’s Daughter Almond Milk Collection bundle which consists of the shampoo, conditioner, and leave in conditioner. I purchased this bundle from Walmart for $10 during their after Christmas clearance sale, so this price was too good to pass up on. Yes you read that correctly $10. Imagine how pleasantly surprised I was because each item individually costs about $10 plus, so it’s like I bought one item and got 2 for free 🙂 Read More

A year ago today I posted my very first blog. I was very anxious, scared about what people would have to say about my opinions, and unsure of what the outcome of this journey would be. I tried to back out of creating this blog many times in the beginning stages. However, I couldn’t help but think of the possibilities this platform could create. What if I actually liked it? What if no one reads it? What if… What if…? All these questions could have prevented me from moving forward.
Then I realized sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith out into the unknown and allow the net to appear. This road has not by any means been easy but I am definitely glad I chose to follow my heart’s desire. In doing so, blogging has improved my life in many different ways. Read More
