One of my goals this year was to read 8 books. Although I did not meet my goal I started 6 books but read 4 of them entirely which is 2 more books than I read last year 🙂
In case you are looking for some self improvement material to read, here is my list of favorites from 2018:
1.You are a Badass, How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an awesome life by Jen Sincero. This is the most recent book I finished reading. It is quite inspirational and self-empowering.
2. Feel the Fear and Do it Any Way by Susan Jeffers is another positive inspirational book I read this year. After reading this book the title has become one of my many mantras for this year. This book really helps you realize the fears holding you back are not as bad as you may think they are.
3. The Love Playbook: Rules for Love, Sex, and Happiness by La La Anthony was a fairly quick read. This book has some good advice as it pertains to relationships. There were also some funny parts in this book which definitely makes it worth reading.
4. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, this is the first book that I’ve read this year and it is also my favorite. Although this book is based on fiction, it encourages you to use you imagination. Through your imagination you can see the possibilities for getting what you want in life. After reading this book, I began paying more attention to the signs the universe is constantly giving.
Once again my goal for 2019 is to read 8 more books. The next one I plan on reading is You are a Badass At Making Money: Master The Mindset of Wealth which is Jen Sincero’s second book.
Comment below with the name and author of a good book you’ve recently read.
Remember you only have one life to live so live it be-U-tifully, by being you to the fullest.
