I feel like it has been forever since I made a post. Well I am back with a video blog of my experience at the Autumn Reggae Wine Festival I attended this past weekend.
This was my second time at the Linganore Autumn Reggae Wine Festival. I went with my sister, 2 nieces, and my cousin Ketsia (yes she is back in town 🙂 ) We arrived approximately halfway through the festival, sampled the wines, then purchased our wine bottles to enjoy while sitting on the lawn listening to the live Reggae band play some popular tunes. I wish I remembered to take a picture of my food but I was so hungry there was no time for that. I had the conch fritters from a Trini vendor there. They were not what I imagined them to be but they were pretty tasty especially when paired with Sorrel to give me that vacation island feel to set the mood just right. I love pretty much anything conch.
Not too long after eating my food, I went to check out the vendors there and purchased some cute afrocentric jewelry. I bought 2 pairs of earrings and 5 bangles. I love these pieces sooo much, I have been wearing a piece almost every day this week. Shortly afterwards I met back up with my crew just as the festival was winding down.
This wine festival was definitely fun. I enjoyed the positive chill vibes, hanging out with people I love, listening to good music, eating scrumptious food, and sipping on different wines which all made this experience quite pleasant. I am however, definitely looking forward to attending this Reggae Wine festival again next year.
